Staying in Dorms (Scully or Forbes)

The check-in table will be setup outside of Scully Hall Dorms on Saturday 7/19 from 1pm to 5pm. There, you will receive your dorm key, conference program, nametag, and parking pass (if you requested one).

For those arriving outside of the check-in table times (e.g. Friday, Saturday ) you can pick up your dorm key in the public safety building (see map linked above).

If you arrive before 1pm Saturday, you may claim your program and nametag at the check-in table. Programs and nametags not claimed at the check-in table will be set out at the Saturday evening reception (Fine Hall, Professors Lounge) and at Sunday breakfast (Lewis Thomas Lab), and will be left outside the main conference room (LTL 003) for the duration of the conference.

Again, hangers and toiletries such as shampoo and toothpaste will not be available. Please bring your own or purchase some at the CVS on Nassau Street or upstairs in Frist Campus Center. Sheets, towels, blankets, pillows, and pillowcases are provided.

Commuters

Please visit the check-in table outside of Scully Hall on Saturday 7/19 from 1pm to 5pm to pick-up your program, nametag, and parking pass. Programs and nametags not claimed at the check-in table will be set out at the Saturday evening reception (Fine Hall, Professors Lounge) and at Sunday breakfast (Lewis Thomas Lab), and will be left outside the main conference room (LTL 003) for the duration of the conference.

Parking

If you are commuting or arriving by car you will need a parking pass (requested when you registered). Parking passes will be distributed from the check-in table outside Scully Hall on Saturday from 1pm to 5pm. Anyone arriving on Sunday can pick up their parking pass outside the lecture hall (Lewis Thomas Lab LTL 003). When you arrive, park in Lot #20. After you get your parking pass, move your car to Lot #21. Cars left in Lot #20 overnight will be ticketed, so we suggest that cars be removed from Lot #20 before the reception.

Nassau Inn Guests

When you arrive at the Nassau Inn you can park your car temporarily at the front entrance to unload your luggage and check in. Your names are on a list at the front desk. Simply let them know that you are with the Sloan-Swartz Conference. Conference programs and nametags will be handed out at the front desk when you arrive. All attendees staying at the Nassau Inn can park in the s parking garage (the parking fee will be covered by the conference).
